Daily collective worship shapes the entire ethos and atmosphere of life in our school and takes place at the end of every school day.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child/ren from collective worship but we would hope that parents would come into school and discuss this before making a decision.
Reverend Jenni visits school regularly to lead Collective Worship and take particular interest in the pastoral care of all the children. Kath Jones from the Methodist Village Seeds Project leads Collective Worship for the children every Thursday and is central to the religious and spiritual life of the school. Both Reverend Jenni and Kath Jones provide a link with the local Christian community and our children participate in annual Christian festivals at the local church and regularly visit the Methodist Church in the village.
Parents are welcome to join us for our very Community Celebration Collective Worship at 3.00pm on a Friday to celebrate the children’s achievements and join in with our singing and prayers. This is a very special end to the school week.
