Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE)
Through PSHCE we aim to give children the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to be informed, active, responsible citizens. We work with the programme of study laid out in the NYCC PSHCE framework, which breaks taught content into year groups.

In addition to this, every two years Year 5 and 6 also include SRE (Sex and Relationship Education) into the curriculum to empower children with the relevant knowledge required for their age. This is seen as an important aspect of safeguarding children, however parents do have the right to remove their child from such lessons if they see fit to do so.

With effect from Friday 20th March 2020 at 3:30pm school will be closed until further notice and will only be open to children of Key Workers.

Keep safe everyone.
