Our fabulous preschool is an integral part of Barton Church of England Primary School, our small school with a big heart. it is a friendly, caring and social environment in which the children can mix with Reception and Year 1 in our dedicated indoor and outdoor learning space.
This free-flow environment is led by a qualified teacher in a real school setting. This allows our preschool children to get a gentle introduction to the curriculum incorporated into every day:
- Phonics through song, rhyme, sounds and noises
- Counting, recognising numbers and patterns
- Story time

What our parents say
“Barton Preschool is amazing in so many ways. I love how small the school is and that the preschool children are included in most things that the whole school do.” Anonymous
“The children build good friendships with the teachers and other pupils as they get the chance to spend time with everyone in the whole school.” Anonymous
“One of the main things I like is the fact that it is more of a school environment which means transitioning from year to year makes it so much easier on the child. Definitely highly recommend.” Anonymous
